Lazing on a Sunday Crafternoon

The first thing you notice about this book, is that it's gorgeous.

The images are so sweet and the craft projects are just as beautiful.

Lazing on a Sunday Crafternoon is perfect for those afternoons when the kids are bored and/or it's raining.

Each project featured in this book can be made in 30 minutes - which is about the attention span of children doing activities anyway (in my home it is).

The author, Eliza Muldoon, has a daughter called Lotte (love her name). She discusses any obstacles she had with the projects.

The book contains 52 crafting projects - one for every week in the year.

Some of the crafting projects include - making headbands and aprons, tool belts, toys and handy knick knacks for the home.

One of my favourites is Tacky Babies

They are little babies you can find at discount stores (dollar shops). You attach a thumb tack to the back of the baby and you have a funky pin to put on your cork board.

I am one of those people that love and appreciate beautiful craft, but it's quite unfortunate that I have not much talent in that area.

The beauty of this book is that you don't have to be a crafting expert like Tonia Todman or Martha Stewart, because these projects are achievable.
