How Eskimos Keep Their Babies Warm Giveaway

How Eskimos Keep Their Babies Warm
by Mei-Ling Hopwood

Parenting wisdom from around the world

Quite possibly one of the most interesting books about parenting I have read.

The book doesn't give dish out advice, instead it informs the reader about the way some cultures raise their children.

Chapters include:
  • How Buenos Aires children go to bed late
  • How the French teach their children to love healthy food
  • How Kenyans live without pushchairs
  • How the Chinese potty train early
  • How Aka pygmies are the best fathers in the world
  • How Lebanese Americans keep their families close
  • How Tibetans cherish pregnancy
  • How the Japanese let their children fight
  • How Mayan villagers put their kids to work
  • How Polynesians play without parents
  • How Asians learn to excel in school

As a parent, I found some of the topics discusses are similar to the way I raise my son.

Others were simply beyond my comprehension.

Although globally, we may have different styles of parenting, our love for our children is endless and unconditional.
